Routes
旅のルート
A loop through central Japan's cultural heartland. From ancient moss-covered shrines through a castle above the clouds, past UNESCO thatched-roof villages, over a mountain pass nobody talks about, along Japan's only driveable beach, and into one of the country's most beautiful gardens.
From I.M. Pei's hidden mountain museum through the floating temples of Lake Biwa, north to one of Japan's three most famous views, and into a fishing village where boats park under living rooms. A detour to Aichi adds 140 cars from every era.
Japan through the windshield. A 600HP GT-R through Tokyo at night, Honda's racing heritage inside their own circuit, Japan's highest mountain road, 140 cars at Toyota's museum, a mountain toll road where JDM legends gather at the summit, and 10 km of driving on the beach.
More routes coming as I publish new stories from the archive.
